The confectionery-catering workshop "Mariz" was created in December 2012 by brothers George and Andreas Giakoumelos. It was named after the "maryse" spatula, which is used to stir our favorite chocolate.
Characteristic of Mariz Patisserie is its open kitchen that allows people to be an eyewitness to the creation of a dessert and to know that what they choose has a true and authentic taste, is fresh and quality.

The two brothers behind Mariz Patisserie, George and Andreas Giakoumelos have literally grown up in the sweet world of confectionery, since their father also owned a pastry shop, "Athenaea" in Kypseli since 1967.
Later, Giorgos Giakoumelos studied business administration while Andreas studied confectionery. Their knowledge was combined and with a common axis the experience they had from their father, they created Mariz Patisserie in Holargos, at 123 Anastaseos Street.
With the help of experience, studies, but mainly the passion and love for confectionery, they create daily, unique sweets that combine the glamor of the old with the freshness of the new confectionery.
